About Me & My Practice
I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Burlington, Montpelier, and online. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Vermont in 2020 and have gained experience across various mental health settings, including community mental health, working with incarcerated women, and supporting individuals who have experienced domestic and sexual abuse. My own journey with mental health has enriched my perspective and informs my approach to therapy. I strive to cultivate a welcoming and supportive environment where clients can explore their identities and experiences with humor, empathy, and a strong commitment to social justice.
How I Work
I use a blend of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to empower you to challenge negative thought patterns and live in alignment with your values. I also incorporate Narrative Therapy, which helps you reframe your personal story and build resilience. Additionally, I draw from Psychodynamic principles to explore the deeper emotional roots of the challenges you may be facing.
My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where we can work together to develop personalized strategies for your growth and healing.
